Pikachu is one of the most well-known Pokémon and a favorite of children all around the world! He's yellow in color, with adorable rabbit-like ears and a tail that looks like a lightning bolt. His name, Pikachu, comes from the Japanese words for 'volt' and 'peep', which perfectly fits his electric attacks. Our illustrators have done their best to create the most beautiful Pikachu coloring pages for you. In the world of Pokémon, Pikachu is like a friend always ready for adventure! He's often seen alongside Ash Ketchum, a famous Pokémon trainer. Pikachu has a very special voice, voiced by Ikue Ōtani, who brings his character to life in cartoons, movies, games, and toys.

Pikachu is also special because he has electric powers. He can shoot electric shocks from his red cheeks and even create an electromagnetic field with other Pikachu. But did you know Pikachu doesn't evolve like other Pokémon? He needs a special stone, a "Thunder Stone", to change into Raichu! In the game Pokémon Yellow, you even start your journey with Pikachu as your first Pokémon. There, he needs a unique process with a Thunder Stone to evolve. Pikachu is number 25 in the national Pokédex and became the official mascot of Pokémon. Color him bright yellow with red cheeks, black tips on his ears and two brown stripes on his back, just like in the games.
