Santa Claus lives at the North Pole, where he spends the whole year checking his list and helping the elves in the toy workshop. On Christmas Eve he loads his sleigh, harnesses the reindeer and flies across the sky to deliver presents. Our Santa coloring pages follow him through that busy night: squeezing down a chimney, filling stockings by the fireplace, waving from his sleigh above snowy rooftops or reading letters from children. Younger kids can start with a big jolly Santa with his round belly and fluffy beard, while older kids can pick detailed scenes full of gifts, candy canes and twinkling stars. Want more festive drawings? Our Christmas and Winter categories have trees, snowmen and gingerbread houses too. Santa's famous red suit with white fur trim became popular through Christmas illustrations in the 1800s and 1900s. Color his coat and hat bright red, keep the beard and fur white, and give him shiny black boots and a golden belt buckle. Don't forget a red nose for Rudolph at the front of the sleigh!
