The Minions first appeared in Despicable Me in 2010, According to their own film Minions (2015), these small yellow creatures have existed since the beginning of time and have always searched for the most despicable master they could serve. They finally found him in Gru, a villain in a striped scarf who turned out to have a soft heart once he adopted Margo, Edith and Agnes. The Minions speak Minionese, a funny mix of many languages voiced by director Pierre Coffin, with words like bello, poopaye and of course banana. In Despicable Me 2, 3 and 4 and Minions: The Rise of Gru they help Gru and the inventor Dr. Nefario, and they still go crazy for bananas.
