Dumplings
Kawaii dumplings are everywhere right now, from squishy dumpling toys to stickers and plushies. Picture plump little dumplings with rosy cheeks and tiny smiles, sitting in a bamboo steamer, napping on a spoon or holding a pair of chopsticks. Our dumpling coloring pages capture that soft, chubby look with thick rounded outlines and simple shapes that are easy to fill in.
Younger kids can start with one big dumpling on the page, while older kids and adults can choose busy scenes with a whole dumpling family and add patterns, steam swirls and shading. Soft creams and pastels look lovely, but a rainbow of dumplings is just as fun. Looking for squeeze toys in general? Take a look at our Squishy category.
Dumplings have been eaten in China for around 1,800 years and are a Chinese New Year favorite, because their shape looks like ancient gold ingots. Color them in warm creamy tones with a light golden-brown edge, as if they just came out of the pan. Add a few grey steam swirls on top and you can almost smell them.
